Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
You will meet and greet with our company representative either at the airport or at your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing about your safari, you will embark on your journey to Serengeti National Park on a road near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, allowing for animal sightings along the way. Arrive in time for lunch and thereafter an afternoon game drive in the park. The Serengeti National park is arguably the best known wildlife sanctuary in Africa with over 3 million large mammals. On the way, you will pass the Olduvai Gorge where some of the earliest archaeological remains of human evolution were found. The park contains vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and other antelopes. Dinner and overnight at your camp / lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
You will have an early morning breakfast before you embark on a whole day game drive experience in Serengeti National Park. Famous for its massive annual migration of wildebeests and zebras which move in search of fresh pastures during the dry seasons.
Other animal species found in the Serengeti include the Big 5 African animals (lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants and buffalos), crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, impalas, elands and other antelope types, baboons, monkeys and over 500 species of birds. You will have a break after the mid-morning game drive at your camp / lodge and have your lunch before you continue your game viewing adventure in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at your camp / lodge.
Day 3: Back to Arusha
The early bird get the worm. Wake up to an early morning game drive (pre-breakfast) in the park. For a chance to spot the big cats and other predators on their morning kill. Also watch as the park comes to life and the beautiful morning sunrise over the savannah plains of Serengeti NP.
Retreat from the game drive and drive back to your camp / lodge for a delicious breakfast and check out. You will have one last chance of game viewing as you leave the park for Arusha. You will be dropped at the airport for your flight back home or at your hotel in Arusha.
